The nominations for the 2010 Daytime Emmy Awards were announced today, primarily honoring recognizable celebrity chef names and shows from the Food Network and PBS.

The celebs vying for this year's "Outstanding Lifestyle/Culinary Host" are Paula Deen, Giada De Laurentiis, Bobby Flay, Ina Garten, and Martha Stewart. This is not the first nomination, nor first potential win, for any of these hosts. Last year, however, marked the first win for reigning champion Ina Garten, host of "Barefoot Contessa."

Four television series (two from Food Network and two from PBS) are nominated for "Outstanding Culinary Program." "Giada At Home" and "Tyler's Ultimate" represent Food Network, while "America's Test Kitchen" and the new "Gourmet's Adventures with Ruth" are PBS's nominated offerings.  This is the second nomination for "Giada At Home," losing last year to "Grill It! With Bobby Flay."

In the "Outstanding Directing" category, "Giada At Home," "Food Trip with Todd English," and Eric Ripert's new series "Avec Eric" are among the list of nominees. "Giada At Home" has previously received a nomination and win for this category in years past.

The 2010 Daytime Emmy Award winners will be announced on June 27, 2010.
