The nominations for the Creative Arts Emmys are in categories that aren't as well-known as the categories shown on a televised Primetime Emmy Awards program, such as art direction, casting, or directing.

Three culinary programs received nominations: "Hell's Kitchen," "Top Chef," and "Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations."  Their three nominated categories (respectively) were for art direction, hosting, and cinematography.

So congratulations to Anthony Bourdain and his camera crew for taking home an Emmy last night! He won in his sole nominated category, Outstanding Cinematography For Nonfiction Programming.

A two-hour edited version of the Creative Arts Emmy Awards will be broadcast on the E! Network on Friday, September 18 at 8:00 p.m. ET.

If you'd like to view the entire list of 2009's nominees and winners, you can do so via the Emmy Awards official website.
