Celebrity chef Bobby Flay of Food Network fame has been investing time in a separate hobby this past year. Let's just say, it's a classy way to enjoy horse meat (for a chef, especially). And from the looks of things, the investment is certainly paying off.

Flay is the owner of a prize-winning thoroughbred named More Than Real, an American filly race horse. At three-and-a-half years of age, More Than Real already has two titles and a second-place finish to her credit.  In November of 2010, she took the $1 million first-place finish at the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf race at the prestigious Churchill Downs, home of the Kentucky Derby.

The quick rise in Flay's success has garnered him an invitation to be the keynote speaker for the Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony at the National Museum of Racing in Saratoga, New York. This museum houses memorabilia from famous race horses, jockeys, and their trainers as well as a vast collection of artwork cherished by the racing community.

Flay's keynote address will take place next month on Friday, August 12 at 10:30 a.m. Those who won't be in the area to attend can view the ceremony's live broadcast on HRTV or streaming via www.racingmuseum.org.
