great-american-food-music-festToday, the Great American Food & Music Fest comes to the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, CA. Attendees can get their fill of celebrity chef demos, regional American food from coast to coast, and live music to celebrate it all.

Celebrity chefs Bobby Flay, Guy Fieri, Anne Burrell, and Aida Mollenkamp from TV's Food Network will host the event. They are also scheduled to give cooking demonstrations along with a carefully-selected grouping of San Francisco Bay-area chefs as well.

Restaurants from around the nation will host food tastings of their most popular dishes, as chosen by food critic Ed Levine (of Gourmet Magazine and The New York Times.) The locations range from Brooklyn to L.A., and guests can enjoy authentic New York-style cheesecake or Oprah's favorite ice cream, Graeter's Ice Cream from Cincinnati, for starters.

The wine portion of the event will present a tasting pavilion as well as several mixing seminars with "Mr. Mojito" David Nepove, among others.

Scheduled to perform on the music stage are The Rising Sound, Jeremy Buck & the Bang, singer/songwriter Marshall Crenshaw, bluesy funk band Little Feat, and jazzy swing kings Big Bad Voodoo Daddy.

The Great American Food & Music Fest will start at noon and end at 10 p.m. on Saturday, June 13. Tickets are $35, and parking at the event is an additional $15.
