The 2011 International Home + Housewares Show will be coming to Chicago during the first full weekend of March. Sponsored in part by the International Home Association (IHA), All-Clad, Groupe SEB USA, KitchenAid, and Whole Foods Market, this event will bring celebrity chefs, local restaurateurs, and specialty food reps under the same roof for cooking demonstrations and gourmet tastings during its Dine + Design Expo. The event anticipates 60,000 attendees from over 100 represented countries.

Celebs on hand include well-known names from "Iron Chef," "Top Chef" and "Top Chef Masters," "MasterChef," and many others from both Food Network and PBS. Guests will learn cooking techniques from Michael Symon, Rick Bayless, Curtis Stone, Cat Cora, Paula Deen, Guy Fieri, Tony Mantuano, Masaharu Morimoto, Ming Tsai, and Michelle Bernstein. Recent additions include America's first "MasterChef" winner Whitney Miller, "The Next Iron Chef" champion Marc Forgione, and former "Top Chef" contestants Stephanie Izard and Dale Levitski. Many of the aforementioned chefs will also host book signings after their cooking demonstrations.

Additionally, the event will feature a gathering of Chicago fare in "Restaurant Row." Fourteen of Chicago's restaurants will have representatives available to talk about their signature dishes, special sauces, and recipes. Guests can also browse and sample local and imported foods in the Specialty Food Marketplace, hosted by the National Association for the Specialty Food Trade (NASFT).

Chicago's International Home + Housewares Show will be held March 6,8, 2011 at McCormick Place. A list of celebrity appearances, schedules, vendors, and ticket information can be found on the IHA website.
