The online Italian cooking show "Cooking With Nonna" is about to start its second season, but is now embarking on its first partnership with the KitchenAid brand.
Nonna is the Italian word for "grandmother;" hence, each episode of "Cooking With Nonna" features authentic Italian grandmothers making recipes that have been passed down in their families for generations. The returning host of the show is Rossella Rago, who presents viewers with modern tips to help make each nostalgic recipe easier. Dishes include classic Italian favorites like Focaccia Barese, Saltinbocca alla Romana, Petti di Pollo al Limone, Ossobuco, and Cartellate, which have been collected from local chefs in Rome, Puglia, and Tuscany.
Every week, between October 12 through December 27, the series will be giving away a small KitchenAid appliance via sweepstakes on its official website. Prizes include hand mixers, immersion blenders, bakeware, food processors, and even a 90th Anniversary Edition Stand Mixer.
Rago says she is "honored to be teaming up with such a renowned brand like KitchenAid to give away some terrific appliances." And who wouldn't? Execs at KitchenAid are excited about the new partnership as well. According to Brand Experience Manager Deb O'Connor, the company is "delighted to partner with a site that not only preserves the traditions of home cooking but also helps make these traditions relevant to today's cooks."
