Creamy Marshmallow Chocolate Fondue Dessert Recipe

Posted by

There really isn't any recipe for the perfect combination of fondue + dippers. The beauty of fondue is partly due to the variety it facilitates. But this creamy fondue, just by itself, is close enough to perfection that just about any dipper will do.

Here are a few suggestions: pound cake, brownie bits, strawberries, bananas, graham sticks, caramel candies, and even marshmallows -- but you'll get enough of the marshmallow flavor in the fondue, too.

Ingredients:

  • 1 8-oz. package semi-sweet chocolate pieces
  • 1/4 cup whole milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 chocolate candy bars
  • 1 cup marshmallow cream

Directions:

Heat all ingredients in a fondue pot or double broiler over low heat. Stir constantly until melted and well blended. Once smooth, coat dippers in mixture and serve.
