Cuisinart Brew and Serve Coffee Maker The Cuisinart Thermal Coffeemaker provides up to twelve cups of coffee with twenty four hour programmability. The pause feature allows you to get a cup when you need a cup, even while the machine is brewing. A tone sounds to note your brew is ready. The lid is designed to be pour-through and brew-through, negating the hassle of adjustments and letting the machine brew directly into the carafe. The double walled carafe is insulated to keep your coffee hot and made of easy to clean stainless steel. Included with the coffeemaker are a #4 paper filter starter kit, an instruction book, and a limited three year warranty.

People have found the design of the Cuisinart lacking because no matter how much attention is paid to alignment of the carafe with the machine, the brew through lid fails randomly, spilling coffee all over the counter. The machine is also quite tall and may not fit under some cabinets. Check your measurements before you make a decision.

The machine shuts off once your coffee has brewed. The thermal carafe seems to be well insulated and up to the job of keeping the coffee inside hot for prolonged periods. People who have never had the device leak insist that the leakage is user error, that the coffeemaker meets their expectations and they enjoy the programmable feature. If you require large amounts of coffee and tend to drink it until the last drop, consider the Cuisinart.

Compare this with the DeLonghi Twenty-Four-Seven coffeemaker.
