Midwestern "Top Chef" fans and foodies alike will want to keep the evening of October 21 free on their calendar -- because Milwaukee will be hosting quite a few celebrity chefs at a James Beard dinner that night.
The Friends of James Beard Dinner will feature Milwaukee chefs Paul Bartolotta and Adam Siegel (both winners of JBF Awards) as well as Season 5's Hosea Rosenberg and Season 4's Stephanie Izard of "Top Chef."
Paul Bartolotta is co-owner of the Bartolotta Restaurants group in Milwaukee, and is the executive chef at the Wynn's Bartolotta Ristorante di Mare in Las Vegas, Nevada. Bartolotta Ristorante chef Juan Urbieta will be in attendance as well.
Adam Siegel is the executive chef of both Lake Park Bistro and Bacchus, the latter of which will be the host location of the Friends of James Beard Dinner. Part of the city's historic Cudahy Tower, it is also a member of the Bartolotta Restaurant group.
Guests will also get to meet and greet a professional wine connoisseur from the well-known Oregon's Domaine Serene Winery and sample pairings which complement the celebrity chef dinner.
Proceeds from the ticket price of $175 will go to benefit culinary scholarships.
