Grilled Chicken with Homemade Barbeque Sauce Recipe

Posted by

In my opinion, everything just tastes so much better when it's made from scratch. So if you've ever wanted to try making your own barbeque sauce, now's your chance. The ingredients for the sauce aren't that hard to acquire, but you'll only use a little at a time. That means if you don't have any plans for that leftover Worcestershire sauce anytime soon, consider saving this for a March Madness party or a family reunion. Your guests will love the homemade flavor!

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 teaspoons paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 to 3 pound broiler-fryer chicken, cut up
  • 1/4 cup butter

  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 medium onion, finely sliced
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 tablespoons vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoons pepper
