Miami’s Arsht Center Revives Celebrity Chef Series

Posted by on Aug 12

adrienne-arsht-centerTickets go on sale today for a Celebrity Chef Series sponsored by Miami's Adrienne Arsht Center and Johnson & Johnson.

The Series is a culinary experience in three parts, on three nights, during the fall of 2009.  Celebrity chefs are brought in for an exclusive interview, followed by a lively cooking demonstration and an audience question-and-answer session.

The first night kicks off October 16, and features both Ingrid Hoffman and Daisy Martinez from Food Network shows "Simply Delicioso" and "Viva Daisy!" With Columbian and Puerto Rican backgrounds to their advantage, this evening should be full of boldness and flavor in all aspects.

On November 13, the Series continues with acclaimed French-American chefs Jacques Pepin and Eric Ripert, who specialize in gourmet French cuisine. Hosting is "No Reservations" star Anthony Bourdain. Other hosts have yet to be announced.

The final night ends with a bang, or rather a "Bam!" as Emeril Lagasse showcases ingredients from Florida in his cooking demonstration.  He may draw inspiration from his restaurant Emeril's Miami Beach.

Tickets to the Series can be bought individually in September, but complete package tickets go on sale today.  A VIP experience is available for purchase as well, which includes a cocktail party and a dinner sampling from the celebrity chefs' cooking demonstrations.
