robert-irvine-dinner-imp-09Today, press representatives for the Food Network confirmed that celebrity chef Robert Irvine will return to film a new season of "Dinner: Impossible." Production has started this month, and the show is slated to air this fall.

In each show, Irvine is known for creating creative and impressive dinners using challenging ingredients, while only given a moment's notice. His culinary audience ranges from small, intimate gatherings to large crowds.

Robert Irvine is also an Ambassador of the Culinary Institute of America and has won several culinary awards, including a Five-Star Diamond Award and a Culinary Excellence Award.

The new season of "Dinner: Impossible" should live up to fans' expectations. Thirteen new episodes will be filmed this spring, with several new culinary obstacles for Chef Irvine to overcome. Here's a glimpse of what you might see on the upcoming season: serving different yet delicious food combos to 450 Yahoo! employees, and whipping up an "extreme dinner" for over 200 hungry Winter X-Games athletes.

The new season of "Dinner: Impossible" will air Wednesday nights starting in August of 2009.
