- 1 (4 lb.) pork loin
- 1 tsp. season salt
- 1 tsp. pepper
- 1 (12 oz.) jar of apple jelly
- 1/2 cup of water
- 2 1/2 tsp. garlic, minced
- 1 Tablespoon dried parsley
Cut the loin in half and sprinkle with the salt and pepper. Place both halves into a 5-quart crock pot.
In a bowl, whisk together the jelly and water until smooth. Stir in the garlic until well combined. Pour the glaze over the pork loin. Cover the crock pot and cook on low for 8 hours. The meat should be tender and reach 160 degrees on a meat thermometer.
Remove the meat and allow it to stand 10 minutes before slicing. Makes 12 servings.
