Rich, Moist & Gooey Chocolate Brownies

Easy Dessert Recipe

Posted by Sharon

Since these brownies come out of the oven deliciously moist and gooey, you'll want to make sure that you don't cut and serve them too soon. While you're patiently waiting for them to cool, that's the perfect time for adding other finishing touches, like a light dusting with confectioner's sugar for example.

Ingredients:

  • 1 stick butter or margarine
  • 2 squares unsweetened chocolate
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 cup chopped nuts

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. On stovetop, heat the butter and chocolate and mix together on low heat. Beat eggs and add to chocolate mixture once the mixture has cooled. Add all other ingredients and mix well. Pour into an 8-inch greased pan and bake for about 20 minutes. Remove from oven and cool. Cut the brownies into squares but do not take them out until they cool completely.
