The full sized Summit Pro Refrigerator Freezer offers plenty of storage space in a compact design with a 26" by 26" footprint. This frost-free model has adjustable tempered glass shelves in the refrigerator section with a clear-view vegetable crisper and plenty of roomy bins in the door for drink containers and condiments.
The upper freezer section is equipped with one shelf for more efficient arrangement of frozen foods, with two full width racks in the door as well.
The extra shelves and storage options give this compact refrigerator freezer nearly the same capacity as a larger model but in a space saving 12.6 cubic foot configuration. Simple thermostat controls give an adequate range of settings.
Although this is a good choice for small kitchens where space is always at a premium, be careful of using the space too well. Loading the shelves so tightly that airflow is restricted can be the cause of hot and cold spots and reduces the energy efficiency of the appliance.
The white interior is easily wiped clean of any spills, and the frost-free operation of the freezer section keeps maintenance to a minimum. Summit claims the exterior of brushed stainless steel is fingerprint proof. The stain resistant surfaces need little attention beyond an occasional quick rub down.
