The 27th annual TCA (Television Critics Association) Awards have been announced, and this year, a new category has been added that will please fans of culinary TV programming.

In this year's new Outstanding Achievement in Reality Programming category, both Top Chef: All Stars and Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations have been nominated for a TCA Award. The other nominees in this category include Survivor, The Amazing Race, and The Voice.

The nominees are chosen by professional writers in the industry. "We do not accept submissions," said TCA president Susan Young in the official press release. "Nominees represent the TCA’s version of the All-Star team, and we take great pride in honoring them."

Winners will be announced during a non-televised awards ceremony hosted by Nick Offerman (also nominated for his performance in Parks and Recreation) on August 6, 2011 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.

Not to be outdone, another new television awards ceremony has also nominated Top Chef in its Best Reality Series Competition category. The first ever Critic's Choice Television Awards, produced by the BFCA spin-off Broadcast Television Journalists Association, will be hosted by So You Think You Can Dance host Cat Deely at a Beverly Hills Hotel luncheon on June 20. The awards show will be broadcast live on VH1's website.
