The 28th Annual American Food & Wine Festival is slated to revisit Los Angeles this coming weekend. Helming the event as always is celebrity chef and restaurateur Wolfgang Puck, whose charitable Puck-Lazaroff foundation has raised over $15 million in past festivals to benefit L.A.'s Meals On Wheels.

Puck will be performing an exclusive VIP cooking demonstration to guests before the festivities start on Saturday, September 25. Dinner will be served in the Universal Studios Backlot, surrounding diners with familiar movie sets as they indulge in gourmet cuisine. Several other local celebrity chefs plan to serve their dishes during this event as well, paired with gourmet wine and spirits. Guests can also participate in a silent auction to benefit Meals on Wheels.  Following dinner is the “Sherry Yard’s Sweet Sanctuary Champagne and Port Lounge” afterparty, complete with dancing and a live band.

And on Sunday, September 26, the festival moves to Spago Beverly Hills for the Chefs Grand Tasting Dinner. Here, regional chefs will pair their courses with select wines as guests conclude the silent auction. Featured chefs include Nobu Matsuhisa, Charlie Palmer, Paul Bartolotta, Michael White, Santi Santamaria, and Dominique Ansel, who will prepare and serve their signature dishes throughout the event.
