All-Clad Stainless Steel Saucepan The shine of the pan will catch your eye. Made from 18/10 stainless steel, the cooking surface is hand polished, won't react with food, and is a snap to clean. The exterior has a mirror finish made of magnetic stainless steel, a perfect match for induction cooktops.

This line has the same three ply bonded construction as in other All-Clad lines, here an aluminum core surrounded by stainless steel. Highly responsive conduction and even heat distribution are hallmarks of the aluminum core when paired with stainless in this way. The stainless steel lid is tight fitting and has a large loop handle. The pan handle is solid cast stainless steel with high yield strength stainless steel rivets for secure attachment.

The pan and lid are oven safe to 500 degrees. Dishwasher safe though hand washing is likely all you'll need (cleaning tips at All-Clad's website). The pan comes with a lifetime warranty against defects. It's handcrafted in the USA.

Simmer, boil, and warm your foods in this handy smaller pan. Customers love that the pan delivers on its promise of even heating, that their pans haven't warped or degraded even under some hard use, and that this pot is perfect for thicker meals which don't tend to thoroughly warm. You may find pouring from this saucepan a bit difficult due to the high sides and lack of lip and some people have quarreled over the thin handle circumference, but they are in the minority.

Customer satisfaction runs very high with this pan and is close to complete with the All-Clad lines in general. People who own them claim they believe they will last a lifetime: one pan leads to further purchases- not to replace, but to expand their collection. The pans are that impressive.

Here's a slightly larger saucepan from All-Clad.
