paramount-bourdain-bataliOn May 30, the city of Seattle will welcome Chef Mario Batali and food critic Anthony Bourdain -- known as two "bad boys of cuisine" -- for a discussion of all things culinary this coming Saturday night.

Chef Batali is no stranger to the restaurant scene. In the past he was employed at several upscale eateries, and he now runs his own Michelin-starred restaurants. Batali is also the recipient of multiple James Beard awards, and has quite a repertoire of television programs including "Molto Mario" and "Iron Chef."

The often-irreverent food guru Anthony Bourdain is probably most well known for his racy memoir, "Kitchen Confidential," as well as his documentary program on The Travel Channel entitled "No Reservations." Throughout his career, Bourdain has been vocal about celebrity chefs that he praises as well as those he despises. Luckily for Saturday's patrons, Chef Mario Batali has made Bourdain's "nice list."

Batali and Bourdain will discuss, reminisce, and likely engage in heated banter over their experiences in the food industry as well as upcoming trends that they expect to see. Moderating the discussion is local Seattle radio host Luke Birbank, host of "Too Beautiful To Live."

The twosome are set to entertain guests this Saturday at the Paramount Theatre in Seattle, Washington. The show starts at 8:00 p.m., and base ticket prices range from $45 to $175.
