Today's Easter Egg Roll at the White House continues a tradition in its 133rd year. Over thirty thousand tickets were issued via online lottery, and families from all 50 states will be in attendance to join in the White House's largest annual public event.

Several celebrity chefs will be on hand to contribute to this year's theme of "Get Up and Go!" which is part of an existing White House initiative to educate kids about healthy lifestyles. The chefs' cooking demonstrations are part of the event's "Play With Your Food" interactive station.

Contributing chefs today include award-winning French chef Jacques Pepin, host of Fast Food My Way and author of the best-selling La Technique; Art Smith, renowned as Oprah's personal chef and a JBF Humanitarian of the Year award winner; author Marcella Valladolid, recipe stylist for Bon Appetit and host of Fresh Mexico; Carla Hall, culinary instructor and Top Chef All-Stars alum; and Cristeta Comerford, current White House executive chef.

Additional highlights of the Easter Egg Roll feature special performances by hit recording artists Colbie Callait, Willow Smith and Greyson Chance, readings from screen stars John Lithgow, Kelly Ripa, and the cast of Sesame Street, as well as several educational demos by dozens of professional athletes and coaches such as the Harlem Globetrotters.

The White House Easter Egg Roll begins at 7:30 a.m and ends at 6:20 p.m. ET.  Those without tickets can participate online via live broadcast at www.whitehouse.gov/live.
