"We have set out on a mission to create the most epic meals and then eat them. In a time where people are putting an emphasis on dieting and health, we choose to rebel."

Such is the mission statement for Epic Meal Time, a newly launched YouTube show that takes cooking to the extreme. The series began in October of 2010 and has since reached an astounding 20 million views.

Hosts Harley Morenstein and Sterling Toth bring their viewers along for meat-packed, calorie-intensive episodes that basically involve cooking (and eating) recipes well above and beyond the average serving size. Examples include "The Sloppy Roethlisberger," a super-sized hamburger with a whopping 138,226 calories.

And from the looks of things, Epic Meal Time isn't going anywhere anytime soon, much to the vexation of health-food aficionados and vegans everywhere. Plans are currently in place to move the series from a YouTube format to a full-blown TV show. Entertainment Weekly reports that the show has already been signed by major Hollywood talent representatives.  They are presenting their extreme cooking show concepts to several major networks, and may just land a deal soon.
